Tomorrow (Saturday, March 19), IIS "A. Castigliano" in Asti will officially present the FaberLab, a modern and functional digital manufacturing workshop with innovative tools and devices (including 3D printers, laser cutters, etc.) managed by open source (especially Arduino) chipsets.

Town, provincial and regional authorities will be present at the inauguration as well as representatives of the entrepreneurial, educational and professional training systems in Asti.

The Castigliano School FaberLab was developed thanks to a grant by the Asti Town Hall. The objective is to create an environment for sharing knowledge, skills, ideas and information through experimentation with new technology as part of school, interacting with agencies and proposing intelligent new solutions for school-work programmes.

Moreover, the FaberLab, a true and proper Phyrtual Innovation Gym will inherit the position of lead partner for the National Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gymsfrom IIS Pacinotti-Archimede in Rome.

Cecilia Stajano (FMD School Innovation Manager) will be present at the event on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
