Today, as part of Project eSkills4Change, two classes arrive at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym to experiment in the new immersive learning environments.

The 50 participating students have come to Rome from IIS Pasquale Stanislao Mancini in Avellino. After a trip of over 250 km, the students will spend the entire day at the digital manufacturing lab (9:30 am – 6:00 pm), concentrating on the Fab Lab and Game Lab. The students, who will work together in 12 teams, will be supervised by Daniele Vigo and Matteo Viscogliosi, designer, maker and Coordinator of the Digital Manufacturing Lab at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, with the support of Federica Pellegrini. The project is coordinated nationally by Francesca Del Duca [@Francesca_fmd].

What type of education does eSkills4Change provide? What is the original proposal for schools? At the IIS Caterina da Siena School in Milan, Debora Cavallo [@Debora_FMD] recorded the opinions of Carmen Ziccardi, Professor of "Conception, Design and Industrialisation of Fashion Products” and three students - RomechelHana and Daniele – who participated in activities both in the Computer Lab and the Fab Lab.

Thanks to eSkills4Change, Microsoft and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale are providing over 10,000 young Italians with digital training, with a special attention to women and Southern Italy.
