An extraordinary mission began yesterday: the retrieval of a ship that sunk on April 18, 2015, a shipwreck in which about 700 migrants perished and that is considered the greatest tragedy ever to occur in the Mediterranean. The site of the Ministry of the Defense presents images of the operation that will allow the identification of those who perished in the disaster [see Marina Militare: recuperato il relitto del peschereccio inabissatosi il 18 aprile 2015. Ora è nella rada di Augusta]. Moreover, the press agencies reported on a new shipwreck yesterday.

The UNHCR site allows us to count migrants as they arrive in Italy and understand the dimension of this continuing emergency.

We want to continue providing you with thoughts for reflection on what we can do with technology and solidarity to promote a different future.

Then, we travel to Leipzig where the 21st edition of the RoboCup -Robotics World Championships are underway with 500 teams from 45 countries competing and collaborating towards a new idea of technology. And amongst the teams are our students, selected at RomeCup 2016 who will compete in the Soccer category. Forza Azzurri!
