Ten Finalist Ideas

At the end of the "Internet of Things Meets the Digital Economy" challenge held yesterday at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym amongst 32 teams formed by students from three regions, the jury selected ten projects. These ten finalists will be able to perfect their ideas thanks to a course held at Cisco in Rome [see news: Live Hackathon].

 

The ten finalist projects:

  • Smart Restaurant - Team Terni 2, Liceo Donatelli
  • SOS - Team Thertz, IIS Hertz
  • Smart Fish - Team Terni 3, Liceo Donatelli
  • Bedkeeper - Team Durtz, Istituto Hertz
  • Healty and Fit - Team H5, IIS Grottaminarda
  • Sea Control - Team Terni 4, Liceo Donatelli
  • Smart Back Pack - Team Romian, IIS Grottaminarda
  • ICE Breaker - Team Terni 6, Liceo Donatelli
  • Pippies - Team Terni 1, Liceo Donatelli
  • Ever Fresh - Team Leonardo, Liceo Leonardo Da Vinci 

 

All the teams are formed by students in secondary school years four and five. The challenge is part of Project IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, promoted by Cisco.

 

 

Marco Calvani, a professor at the Liceo Donatelli in Terni, chaperoned 6 teams formed by students from various classes to the hackathon. In this interview with Eleonora Curatola, he explains why he decided to “mix” the student teams.
