Umbrian Interconnections

The Regione Umbria and the Umbrian Public Administration School, in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, present “Interconnections,” a project that promotes the social and technological integration and the active ageing of citizens aged 65 and over. The objective is to promote an aware use of modern languages, devices and digital services to the young senior citizens in Umbria, improve elders’ quality of life and assign them an active role in developing intelligent and inclusive communities.

 

A week of appointments in Perugia, Terni, Spoleto, Foligno and Città di Castello from November 27 to December 1, 2017 with activities held by intergenerational teams. Young men and women, elders, start-uppers, makers, programmers, artisans, directors, professors and students in Umbria will work together and contribute their ideas and experiences to promote digital literacy amongst the elderly.

 

The initiative, which is part of the “Digital for the 3rd@age - Engagement of Young Elders” Programme, promoted as part of the “Digital Agenda in Umbria”, will be presented in Perugia on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 12:00 at the Sala d’Onore in Palazzo Donini.
