Mirta Michilli, who co-founded and has managed the Fondazione Mondo Digitale since its creation as the Consorzio Gioventù Digitale in 2001, is over 9000 kilometres away, in Redmond (Seattle), as the only representative of an Italian non-profit at the Microsoft YouthSpark Summit.

 

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale collaborates with the Microsoft Corporation, one of the most important global IT companies. The collaboration is historical and continues on over ten projects, including various editions of Meet No Neet and Pink Cloud, currently in its fourth edition (see news: Pink Cloud on Tour].

 

Since yesterday, Project Managers Annaleda Mazzucato and Ilaria Graziano are in Edenbridge, Kent (UK) to participate in the second transnational meeting of Project Path to a Job (see news: Active Job Search).

 

Cecilia Stajano, FMD School Innovation Coordinator, is gravelling to Mantua to follow the last phases of the digital literacy project, Grandparents on the Internet. Everyone’s Young at the Post Office, promoted with Poste Italiane.

 

Ana Lain, Self-enterprise and New Jobs Coordinator, is coming back from Naples where she attended the third leg of the educational projects on new technology: RealD Educational Campaign.

 

Fondazione Mondo Digitale Scientific Director Alfonso Molina will be on a live TV programme this afternoon - Rai 3 Geo & Geo – for a special report on connected dimension of our planet, web travel and the upcoming Italian Internet Day.
