More Culture, More Active Life Style

What has happened to the manual and material activities in which agricultural Italian society excelled up until the 1950s? They have survived as free time activities, especially amongst the culturally higher levels of the Italian population.

This is what emerges from the Level of Participation in Italian Cultural Life edited by Adolfo Morrone and Tullio De Mauro (Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Rome 2008).
