An Artist at School

Giacomo-Lion.jpg

The first Italian edition of the Media Art Festival will be held from February 25 to March 1, 2015 at the Centrale Montemartini Museum, a symbol of union between history and technology, and at the Rome Città educativa. Activities, however, begin tomorrow.

The event, in fact, which is based on a large scale laboratory project in schools, begins tomorrow at the the Istituto comprensivo Largo Volumnia with a lab entitled “In (to) the space”. First degree secondary school students will meet artist Giacomo Lion (29) from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, who will guide them through the installations, artistic works that can neither by photographed, nor described. They must be lived. The perception of Lion’s art is above all experience.
