Pink Cloud on Tour

After the editions held in Florence, Rome and Milan, Pink Cloud, the initiative promoted by Microsoft, embarks on a tour of three major Italian cities that will involve over 1000 highly successful Italian and foreign female students. Ideas and talents will be compared to imagine a different future with new career opportunities and in which obstacles are transformed into opportunities.

Next Thursday, April 21, Rome will host a press conference to present the initiative (11 am, Sala polifunzionale, Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Via Santa Maria in Via 37).  Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be present.

The initiative will take place in three cities - Bari, Napoli and Cagliari - from May 9 to 13, 2016.

“The international #MakeWhatsNext Campaign, launched by Microsoft for International Women’s Day will serve as the compass for this event that will stop in 25 European countries, provide six days of training on STEM subjects and professional interviews with young women who wish to undertake a technological career, as well as a round table on Brains in Movement - collaborative energy to contaminate the world with success, vision and new projects. Each location will provide the experiences of extraordinary women who have changed the course of science, technology and society to inspire the girls on their immense possibilities.

Pink Cloud on tour has an ambitious goal: promote women aged 17-24 and provide them with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to transform them into future protagonists.”
