This week’s protagonists are still the Coding Girls and their 14-stop educational tour of Italy [see news: Coding is Freedom]. After the school training sessions, the educational marathon will be in Pisa on Monday for the sixth leg of the tour [see news: Coding Girls in Pisa]. The tour will be in Catania (Tuesday 12), Cagliari (Wednesday 13), Salerno (Thursday 14) and Naples and Bari (Saturday 16) [see poster for other dates]. Intensive coding sessions are also underway in many schools and at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
Events include the first edition of the C1A0 EXPO – Accessible Innovation, the international fair on artificial intelligence (Genoa, November 15-16, 2019 at Palazzo San Giorgio). The event includes an exhibition, labs, workshops, panels and meetings. FMD will participate on Saturday, November 16 with a workshop dedicated to secondary school students on the potential and opportunities of artificial intelligence. Coach Andrea Morachioli will present the Ambizione Italia for Schools Programme developed with Microsoft.

As usual, over the weekend, the digital manufacturing lab (Fab Lab) at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is open to the maker community: Saturday-Sunday from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.
