Today, at 9.30 am, the Campidoglio’s “Protomoteca Hall” will host “Scegliamo di Contare,” an event promoted by the Roma Semplice Councillorship for International Women’s Day and as part of Pink Digital Week.

Women in STEM-related (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers will tell the students about to embark on their future course of studies about their work experience both in Italy and abroad.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be represented by Giorgia Di Tommaso, a 1990 Computer Science Graduate and current PhD student at Sapienza University of Rome.

Giorgia, who has always strongly believed that science, computers and digital tools have no gender, is a long-standing coach for Fondazione Mondo Digitale STEAM programmes for children and young women throughout Italy, as well as one of the protagonists of the Coding Girls movement.
