Coding Girls in Salerno

Today, Thursday, November 14, the 2019 Coding Girls Tour is in Salerno. After the intensive training sessions held in schools in the city and its province (LSS Sensale - Nocera Inferiore, ISIS Giovanni XXIII - Salerno, LSS Severi - Salerno, IIS Mancini - Avellino, IIS Imbriani - Avellino), 150 students, coordinated by American super coach Emily Bradford, independent writer and software developer based in Silicon Valley, will participate in a hackathon at the University of Salerno.

The programme, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the United States Embassy in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft Italy, aims to promote gender equality in science and technology. The sixth edition of the Girls Tour will be held on November 5-22 and will involve 10,000 young women in 14 Italian cities.
