Next Monday, January 20, is the beginning of a very busy week that includes educational activities for the Coding Girls, the Digital Academy for health professionals and the Altaroma Rome Fashion Week.

 

In Turin, activities kick off for the Coding Girls Project activities promoted with the Compagnia di San Paolo: labs for young women (module 0) with Lara Forgione and courses for educators (module App) with Valeria Cristino.

 

Moreover, the fifth edition of Amongst Generations. United for Work, the project developed with CNA Pensionati also begins in Turin. The first appointment will be held on Wednesday 22 at IIS Bosso-Monti in Turin with students and over-60s (retired craftsmen).

 

On Friday 24, there will be the first appointment for Project Scouting Future promoted with Lazio Innova: a creativity marathon on social robotics at the Spazio Attivo Casilina. The challenge proposed by the Department of Engineering and Computer Science at Sapienza University of Rome. The best projects, implemented over the coming months with the help of professors, university researchers and FMD mentors, will be presented as prototypes at RomeCup 2020.

 

On Friday 24 and Saturday 25, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym will host the second appointment of the new edition of Digital Academy on Digital Transformation for Public Health, promoted with Siti [see brochure with progamme]. The educational event is dedicated to health professionals. 

 

The Internet Mobile School organised for Operation Digital Risorgimento by TIM continues with various partners [for the FMD role see Teachers and Educators]. There will be two appointments in Sicily: Noto (until Feb. 7) and Acireale (beginning on Jan. 21).

 

As part of the Rome Fashion Week (Jan. 23 – 26, 2020) organised by Altaroma, there will be the hi-tech Fashion Digital Night on Sunday 26 at the former Guido Reni barracks [see news: Tech Fashion].

  • Ambizione Italia for Schools 
    Daily labs on artificial intelligence will be held at the Microsoft House in Milan (9 am – 1 pm).
    Monday 20: Liceo Stendhal in Milan with Samuele Sciacca.
    Tuesday 21: ITIS P. Paleocapa with Samuele Sciacca.
    Thursday 23: ITT Molinari with Eleonora Arnese.
    Friday 24: IIS F.Meneghini with Eleonora Arnese.
    Saturday 25: interactive lab at the Brindisi hub with Nicola Liuzzi.
  • ABC Atelier
    The Regione Lazio Call for the "Free Course on Cultural Marketing Technician” promoted by the Ro.Ma. Consortium and the “Gema” Business School, aims to train a new generation of cultural marketing specialists. Labs will be held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab on Tuesday with Marco Brocchieri and Wednesday with Irene Caretti.
  • OpenSpace  
    Steam activities will be held at the 4 Phyrtual Innovation Gyms in Bari, Milan, Palermo and Reggio Calabria. The Phyrtual Innovation Gym at IC Madre Teresa di Calcutta in Milan will organised digital manufacturing activities on Wednesday and Fridays (2:30 – 4:30 pm).
  • Phyrtual Innovation Gym
    This week, there will be a lab for the Digital Academy on Public Health (Jan. 24-25) and a course on digital competences and orientation (former school-work programme) for the Liceo Democrito in Rome. On Monday 20, two groups of students will work with Daniele Vigo and Marco Brocchieri.

 

As usual, over the weekend, the digital manufacturing lab (Fab Lab) at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is open to the maker community: Saturday-Sunday from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.
