“Education, associated with the development of critical thinking, is a fundamental tool to fight against the stigma associated with the pandemic. And Project Factor J does just this. Conceived during the peak of the pandemic, Factor J was developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with Janssen Italia and involved 100,000 students to enrich their emotional intelligence and their respect and empathy towards people suffering from serious unease or illnesses. The project took place through various meetings – both proximate and distance – in which the students were able to meet experts and understand how to prevent certain pathologies, from Coronavirus to HIV, and listened to the intimate accounts of victims of discrimination.”
