Training begins today at Hamstead Hall Academy in Birmingham, a MLearn Project partner, with Prof. Robin Babbage, an expert on new technology and didactics.

Twenty teachers from Greece, Italy and the United Kingdom, selected by the project partners at the national level will participate in the intensive training course. Mohamed Gaber Haiba [@HaibaMohamedFMD] will be attending the course on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

Subsequently, each course participant will hold a national training session for first and second degree primary and secondary school teachers who wish to learn more about the use of mobile technology in didactics and learning.

Project M-LEARN - Training Teachers to Use Mobile (handheld) Technologies within Mainstream School Education is implemented as part of the Comenius Lifelong Learning Programme and involves 6 partners from 4 countries.

The aim of the 30-month project (1 October 2013 - 30 March 2016) is to integrate mobile learning (or m-learning) with teacher training in four partner countries (England, Greece, Italy and the Netherlands).
