Access and Security

This morning for the Girls in ICT Day promoted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Coding Girls and participating universities will involve young women in high school in a series of orientation and role modelling sessions to explore the scenarios provided by new technology and drive them to choose careers in STEM [see news: Coding Girls in ICT Day]. This year the focus will be on access and security to eliminate the barriers that women still encounter and increase their security in digital environments [see event on ITU website].
