Yesterday, the IoT Hackathon was held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym for schools participating in Project IoT Acceleration, promoted by the Fondazione Lars Magnus Ericsson. Eight teams from 4 schools participated in the challenge: IIS Enzo Ferrari - Rome, IIS Rosatelli - Rieti, LS Francesco Severi - Frosinone and IIS Dante Alighieri - Anagni.

 

The technical jury included Cesare Avenia, President of the Fondazione Lars Magnus Ericsson.

1st - The Sun Flower

2nd - ACS

3rd - Mediclock

  • The Sun Flower - Class IV H, IIS Dante Alighieri - Anagni: intelligent photovoltaic panels for environmental sustainability
  • 6sense - Class III EA, IIS Rosatelli: intelligent shoes for blind person driving
  • Smart Mirror - Class IV A, IIS Enzo Ferrari: interactive bathroom mirror also provides information on weather, agenda, traffic, etc.
  • Ada – Class IV B, IIS F. Severi: distance alarm to monitor homes and gardens
  • PillsBox - Class IV G, IIS Dante Alighieri: drug dispenser with alerts
  • Mediclock - Class III SB, IIS Rosatelli: intelligent drug dispenser
  • ACS - Class V A, IIS Enzo Ferrari: carsharing for the disable with automatic regulation sensors for car parts (i.e., the seat)
  • Faster Change - Class IV A, IIS Severi: intelligent control of dispensing machines and automatic management of personnel.
