As part of the BNL Media Art Festival, tomorrow, April 14, all the activities at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym (via del Quadraro 102) will centre on artistic activities, intersecting other projects underway with historical partners of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
This original day will be kicked off by the Hon. Davide Faraone, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Education, University and Research.
In particular, the day dedicated to the BNL Media Art Festival features three activities. The day will begin with Breakfast with Art, How to Make Art in a Fab Lab (10:20-11:20 am) in the digital manufacturing lab. From 3-4 pm, the BNL Corner will feature transmedia artist Lino Strangis, who transformed an artistic experience into a videogame together with students. Also from 3-4 pm, the Activity Space will host a debate with French and Italian teachers on Art for Inclusion, an event organised by the French Embassy and the Lazio Regional School Department.
The other environments at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym will host three more projects: Microsoft Youthspark Live Event, Code Your Future and Future Recoded. All of these projects are run with historical FMD partners Microsoft and Telecentre Europe, as well as a new strategic collaboration with the Fondazione Filarete. The tree projects are united by the experience of coding to advance the digital skills of youth and create new work opportunities for them.
The BNL Media Art Festival (Rome, April 13-17) is an event promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in co-production with BNL Group BNP Paribas. The full programme is available at bnlmediaartfestival.org
