One of the partners of the BNL Media Art Festival, which will be held in Rome on April 13-17, is the Quasar Design University (QDU), an educational centre for multimedia and visual communications.
The Quasar Design University will host a debate on “Digital Art Meetings” that will be followed by a sound performance by Roberto Fega. The event, which is free and open to all, will be held on Friday, April 15 (Via Nizza 52).

Moreover, Architect Emanuele Tarducci, Coordinator of the Web & Interaction Design Programme at the Quasar Design University, prepared the management system for the augmented reality digital art multimedia content at the BNL Media Art Festival that visitors will be able to enjoy via their own smartphones at the Rome MAXXI.
In the interview, Luna Todaro, Director of the Quasar Design University, emphasises the importance of the relation between research and education which underlies the choice to collaborate with the BNL Media Art Festival. The key word of the Quasar location, in fact, is #experimentation.
