The inauguration of the centre (Rome, 22 March 2010), which has been accredited as a Local Academy Cisco, featured the participation of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale that collaborates with the school on many projects from Grandparents on the Internet to Robotics.
Here’s the message from the Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Mirta Michilli:
"We have noticed the efforts and motivation of the students and teachers at Itis Fermi at the fourth edition of the International City of Rome Robotics Trophy 2010. I would like to extend my compliments to all of you and thank Headmaster Monica Nanetti who allowed us to activate, with the help of the school’s teachers, a new series of collaborations that we hope to extend into the future.”
The event featured addresses and presentations by various school authorities and agencies that have collaborated with Itis Fermi over the years.
