CNR: the State of the Language
 
The issues faced by the Italian language were at the heart of the debate held on March 8 at the CNR in Rome. The Conference on Lo stato della lingua. Il Cnr e l'italiano nel terzo millennio (The State of the Language. CNR and Italian in the third millennium) was organized by the Department of Cultural Identity of the National Research Centre.
 
Speakers included Linguist Tullio De Mauro, who presented data and observations on linguistic education and learning in traditional schooling.
