Peer Sharing initiatives in Rome’s Municipio VII.

The initiatives promoted by ForumSad with Project Peer Sharing continue for the Week against Racial Discrimination. Today, Tuesday, March 26, from 4.30 to 6.00 pm, the B-Side Intercultural Centre will screen the "Mandela Dance" (ca. 20 minutes) by the Centro di Documentazione Benny Nato, which will be followed by a debate. The video presents the life of Nelson Mandela, apartheid in South Africa, and victory on racism.

On April 10, the entire partnership of Peer Sharing and the residents of Rome’s Municipio VII will meet at Villa Lazzaroni (5.00 to 7.00 pm) for a session on “Peer Sharing: Creating an Educational Community.” The meeting will serve to present the community project and plan; in particular, the objective is to establish co-planning tables on the needs that have emerged and on intervention tools.

Mandela Dance

Mandela Dance is a documentary by Massimo Ghirelli that traces the life of Nelson Mandela, from the South Africa of the Xhosa Tribes to a successful young lawyer transformed into a revolutionary forced into becoming a clandestine in white South Africa, and then a prisoner under Apartheid. Later, much suffering later, a grey Mandela, released from prison after 27 years took back control of his country's route to freedom and became the first President democratically elected by all South Africans, white and black.

Mandela Dance presents a portrait - in the form of a ballad, through poems and songs, music and images, unpublished interviews, and photo albums - of a country and an extraordinary man, who transformed and established a rainbow future without losing humanity or culture. And today they present themselves to the world with the first football World Cup on the African continent.
