The second course organised by Project “Più: Uffici per l’integrazione” cofinanced by the European Union (EIF, Action 9 “Capacity Building" / Year 2013) will address “Communication and Intercultural Mediation.” The objective is to improve local and provincial governance.
The course will last for a total of 12 hours, divided in three sessions (Dec. 16, 18 and 19), addressing the following issues:
· Introduction to Intercultural Pedagogy
· Introduction to Communication Psychology
· Cultural Mediation Techniques
· Analysis of Needs and Resources for Mediation Subject
· Orientation on Immigrant Users and Services
· Translating Indiviual Needs and Resources into Operative Programmes
The first appointment is tomorrow (2-6 pm) at the Auditorium of the Biblioteca dell'Agenzia Regionale per la Promozione Culturale di Avezzano (Via Cavalieri di V. Veneto n. 5). The lessons will be held by Giovanna Rodorigo, Psychologist and Psychotherapist, and Valentina Di Cesare, Cultural and Linguistic Mediator.
