For a few weeks, now, we have been writing about the activities fielded by the School of Internet for Everyone, the largest on-line educational drive dedicated to all those who wish to learn more about the use of digital tools in everyday life. Together with the Local coordinators, we are striving to create a community and bring together community holders working for the common good. Together we can drive human capital.
Today, we will share the experience of Dario Riccobono, Director of Addio Pizzo Travel, an association that promotes tourism against the mafia. “We wanted to reap this opportunity provided by TIM and our friends at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. Understanding the potential, as well as the risks, of the web is fundamental nowadays. Thus, we have provided free lessons for our “mafia-free” associates, shop keepers and entrepreneurs, as well as consumers and friends. We are sure they will be helpful.” The battle for legality must also be fought on the web, which could become an extraordinary tool for transparency.
