Just like last Saturday, a group of children aged 6-10 will meet at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab to play with emotions.

During the first part of the lab, Laura De Santis, a designer and student at the Istituto superiore per l’industrie artistiche will guide the young makers to discover emotions through facial expressions. The children will learn to observe others’ eyes, eyebrow and mouth movements to decipher their moods and represent them graphically.

During the second part of the lab, each child will chose to build an “emotional puppet” out of wood by using laser cutters.

Today’s young makers attend the Mary Mount School in Rome and are chaperoned by some of their parents.

The lab has been organized and conceived by Laura De Santis and Mauro Del Santo, Fab Lab Manager for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
