Extraordinary Women

In the run up to the 13 appointments that have been organised for our special "European Night of Researchers" with 12 women [see news: Female Science], we would like to share with you two series edited by RAI that are dedicated to iconic women.

The first series addresses the stories of 15 women in science, while the second, a cartoon, presents 30 extraordinary stories! Happy viewing!

Women in Science

These women who have become iconic in the world of science are certainly not the only ones who have been successful in this field, but they are the pioneers, those who have opened up new routes thanks to their will, talent and strength, in a world that is often openly hostile. The programme presents the most successful Italian scientists and tells the stories of the most famous from the past.

Brazen

A gallery of portraits of extraordinary women: empresses, political activists, painters, actresses, warriors, dancers … Thirty women who challenged prejudice and changed the world. The cartoon series is inspired by two books entitled "Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World" by French illustrator Pénélope Bagieu. The cartoon is narrated by Actress Isabella Ragonese for the Italian edition.
