Digital Venice 2014, the first event in the Italian Presidency Semester kicks off tomorrow. The event is organized by the Italian Government in collaboration with the EU Commission General Direction of Connect.
 
The event features five workshops that will involve over 300 active participants, including innovators, experts, researchers and public administration managers, who will be called to provide their contribution to the development of the European Digital Agenda:
 
 
Besides the five workshops on the official agenda, the programme will also include a series of related appointments that will give life to the Digital Venice Week.
 
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will participate in the first workshop on Digital Skills and Competences (July 8) with Cecilia Stajano, as well as in the Digital Venice Week Seminar on e-Skills for Growth (July 9).

 

 

Digital Skills: the key to success for European Youth. In the video: a Microsoft interview with Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and YouthSpark Advisor, on the challenges that await Italy during its presidency of the EU.
