The Fondazione Mondo Digitale writes to all the young men and women who have participated or are participating in the courses held at the Officina – New Jobs Workshop to inform them about new digital opportunities.

Dear young men and women, as you know the “Officina – New Jobs Workshop” is extremely successful. As we near the end of the first trimester of training, we have already provided courses to over 500 of you and applications for labs continue to grow exponentially.
To further strengthen your digital competences, we would like to bring your attention to two new important opportunities that will allow you to experiment with what you have learnt to date on the job market and in the working world.
The Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, in collaboration with Google and Unioncamere, is promoting the “Growing Digital” Project to increase digital skills amongst young men and women and bring the Italian enterprises into the web. The objective is to train the 500,000 members of Garanzia Giovani via on-line training through the www.crescereindigitale.it platform, 120 local group labs and 3000 internships.
Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is on the project’s scientific committee.

Also in line with the objective of promoting digitalisation throughout Italy, after the success of the 2014 edition, Google and Unioncamere have once again united to promote Project “Excellence in Digital.” This is an initiative that promotes the digitalisation of “made in Italy” enterprises and the diffusion of digital skills in SMEs thanks to the contribution of 128 young digital evangelizers selected by Unioncamere and supported by 9000-euro scholarships.
Following an initial selection, new graduates and students will be able to attend Google training courses at the end of which they will help out local enterprises.
