What were the repercussions of the Covid emergency on women? The Justice for women amidst Covid-19 Report points out that the health emergency seriously undermined the many achievements obtained in recent years in terms of equality and gender fairness. The main causes were the flaring up, during the lockdown, of previous problems and gaps, like domestic violence, job discrimination, discriminatory property laws, the legal gender divide, the exclusion of women from decisional processes and the existence of informal, traditional judiciary systems.
