The Phyrtual Innovation Gym labs are starting up again with experiential storytelling through coding and immersive tools for young girls aged 6 – 16, especially those from schools in the Lazio Region.
Project “BYE: Build Your Experience” has allowed the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to win a Google RISE Award, a grant that Google for Education allocates to global non-profits to support the diffusion of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) amongst young people with less opportunities of accessing these subjects.
The students attending the Phyrtual Innovation Gym labs learn about storytelling techniques based on coding and immersive tools: 3D visors, CAVE Environment, Ozobot, etc.
The photos, which were taken yesterday in the lab held by Coach Lara Forgione, show some of the young girls experimenting with the Google Cardboard visor to explore arts and nature.
