Nao Goes to High School

To help high school students decide on a series of technological and scientific courses of study at university, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the “A. Ruberti” Department of Information, Control and Management Engineering at Sapienza University in Rome, in collaboration with Media Direct, have organized three-hour labs at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre.

The objective is to provide the students with an opportunity for concretely experimenting with work in a forcefully emerging sector like Robotics. This is gratifying and exciting work that opens up a wide range of opportunities from bio-inspired to service robotics.

In the video, Alessandro and Luana, fourth-year students at the Liceo Ettore Majorana in Orvieto (Applied Sciences Programme), describe their experienced with the Nao Robotics Lab and their attempts to code with Choregraphe.

The laboratories at the Robotics Centre are open every day except for Wednesday from 9:30 to 12:30 am at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre in via del Quadraro 102 (Tuscolano neighbourhood).
