The 2016 edition of the NASA “International Space Apps Challenge” competition will be held on April 22-14 in 170 cities around the world.

The Roman edition will be held by the Sapienza University Faculty of Engineering (via Eudossiana 18). Participation is free and open to every one, of all ages: developers, designers, entrepreneurs, students and science and technology enthusiasts.

The Space Apps Challenge begins on Saturday, April 23 at 9:00 am and ends on Sunday afternoon. At 7 pm, on Sunday, the three local winners and the two proejcts that will be entered in the global NASA competition will be announced.

Teams can be formed at any moment, even on the day of the hackathon. However, if you already know on which challenge you wish to work, you can look for teammates on the challenge hackpad.

Each team must have at least one member who speaks English, as all the information is provided in English and the final project will have to be presented in English (also for the local selection).
