New Appointment with "Studying is Sustainable!"

 

Raising awareness on environmental sustainability, promoting the safeguarding of resources and informing students on how to adopt “cleaner” life styles are the objectives of this project.

Studying is Sustainable is promoted for the 2008/2009 academic year by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei on the wings of the success the last edition that involved more than 1700 students from the schools of Rome. 

This is the fourth appointment of this edition.

• 3:00 pm -  Presentation of the Italian Research in Antarctica by Carlo Ossola, National Antarctic Museum.
• 3:15 pm – Projection of the documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth” by Al Gore, recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and Oscar 2006 as best documentary.
• 4:50 pm – Debate with Massimo Frezzotti, climate and glacier expert from Enea (Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Environment).
