Officine Robotiche

In its third edition, Officine Robotiche has become the meeting point for robot designers and makers from around Italy. This year, the event will will be hosted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale over the next weekend (May 21-22) .

 

The event will include practical demos of robots, workshops on materials, competitions for adults and children. It’s an event dedicated to every enthusiast, expert, neophyte and curious person out there!

 

  PROGRAMME 

 

Saturday 21

10 am – Presentation of “Officine Robotiche 2016”

10 - 11 am – Showcase Area

11 - 12 am – Workshop – Line Follower (basic and advanced) with Stefano Scibilia

12 am – 1 pm – Workshop – ROS Introduction with Raffaello Bonghi

1 – 2 pm  – Lunch break and Self-navigating Robots Exhibition

2 – 3 pm  – Free tests: Line Follower + Showcase Area

3 - 4 pm – Workshop – Vision with Walter Lucetti

4 - 5 pm – Workshop – Modulo YARM by ACMESYSTEM

5 – 7 pm – Warm up: Line Follower + Showcase Area

7 pm – End of the day

 

Sunday 22

10 am – Second day begins

10 - 10.30 am – Workshop – Structured Coding for Young Children with Roberto Tacconi

10.30 - 11:30 am – Workshop – Modelling and Controlling a Mobile Robot with Giovanni di Dio Bruno

11.30 am - 1.30 pm – Qualification he: Line Follower + Showcase Area

1.30 - 2.30 – Lunch break and Self-navigating Robots Exhibition

14.30 - 15.00 – Final rounds: Line Follower

15.00 – 16.00 – Workshop and Debate– PID Control with Raffaello Bonghi

16.00 – 19.00 – Showcase Area

19.00 – Ending
