Usman is 18 and comes from Somalia. Together with his tutor, a student at the Liceo ITI G. Marconi in Catania, Usman has learned to send e-mails with attachments and surf the web, a great way to feel closer to home and his relatives.
Proejct RefugIS (Dec. 2016 – June 2017), financed by Microsoft Philanthrophies and promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in Italy and Fundación Esplai in Spain, aims to provide greater opportunities for inclusion and integration to migrants through the digital and technological skills.
Next Thursday (Feb. 16), the project will also be presented in Spain: Presentación de RefugIS.
