Amongst the novelties of the tenth edition of the RomeCup (March 16-18), there is a new category: Cospace Rescue, a fascinating challenge between real and virtual worlds. The winners will be selected to compete in RoboCup2016, which will take place in Lipsia, Germany from June 20 to July 4, 2016.
Over the coming week, we will report on how the school teams are preparing for the new adventure. In fact, the teams will have to develop strategies and programmes that will allow the robots to operate in both real and virtual rescue environments.
If we reread the news on Italian Victories written last summer by Domenico Ardito from IIS Archimede in Catania, who was called to compete with team Papaoutai in China, we can tell that even RomeCup 2016 will be an unforgettable learning experience.
