For the World Human Rights Day, the 15th District of Rome and the Bambini + Diritti Association present a photo exhibition dedicated to The Sand People, words and images to recount life in the Saharawi refugee camps.
The exhibition is hosted at the "Il Mitreo" (via M. Mazzacurati 61) and will be inaugurated at 5.30 pm on December 9, 2009.
The inauguration ceremony that starts at 6.30 pm will feature:
- Gianni Paris, President of Rome’s 15th District
- Paolo Masini, Municipal Councillor
- Fabrizio Grossi, Social Policy Councillor for the 15th District
- Omar Mih, Representative of the Polisario Front in Italy
- Matteo Mennini, President of the “Bambini+Diritti” Association
The ceremony will be hosted by Concita De Simone and Francesco Montanari, who interpreted the “Lebanese” in the “Romanzo Criminale” TV series, will be the special guest.

The Bambini+diritti Association and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale implement the Digital Bridge Project, a technological bridge towards the Saharawi People.
