Seven More Teams

At the end of the "Internet of Things Meets the Digital Economy" Hackathon held yesterday at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, seven more teams were selected to develop their ideas through courses that will be held at Cisco in Rome [see news: Speaking Objects].

Here are the seven selected ideas:

  • Women’s team from Class 3G at M. Pantaleoni School in Frascati with Future Glasses: smart glasses that help blind people in everyday activities.
  • Women’s team from Class 4G at M. Pantaleoni School in Frascati with “Alla Ricerca di Sauro”: an intelligent toy, inspired by a chamaleon, to boos cognitive development and colour learning.
  • Team IV G at Maffeo Pantaleoni School in Frascati with Glycemic Spoon: a glycemic spoon that measures the quantity of glucose in foods.
  • A joint team (classes 3 and 1B) at M. Pantaleoni School in Frascati with Saving Food: an app to prevent food waste.
  • Team "I cipollotti" from IIS Sandro Pertini School in Genzano (Rome) with e-Air: an innovative system to filter and recycle air.
  • Team "Sughetto" from IISS "Sandro Pertini" School in Genzano (Rome) with “Speed for Need”: an extremely rapid first-aid drone.
  • Team "I formaggini" from IISS "Sandro Pertini" School in Genzano (Rome) with “Colori sugli stato d'animo” to identify stress.

The challenge amongst students is part of the IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Project promoted by Cisco.
