Solidarity Hackathon

Just a few days are left to sign up for the second edition of the “Cuore Digitale” Award. Thirty individuals from start-ups, makers, developers, digital inventors and have been organized into 5 teams that will compete with creativity and skills at the solidarity hackathon that will be held in Rome on September 29-30 (Rome Jubilee Press Point, Via dei Penitenzieri 14). The aim is to develop a digital prototype that will improve the life of visually impaired individuals. The award will go to the most innovative model that promises to improve the life of those with visual disabilities.

 

The last edition was won by "dbglove" (a sensor-laden glove for the blind), "brain control" (a brain wave reading helmet for those who can’t move) and "google4lis" (glasses project an avatar and the LIS language for the deaf).
