This week “Everyone is on the Internet” in Lombardy, too, one of the 17 Italian regions participating in the 9th edition of Digital Literacy Week.
Fiorella Mionti is the project coordinator at the Istituto Comprensivo in Villa Guardia, a small town in the Province of Como. The teacher told Cecilia Stajano about the educational value of this project for the new generations.
The town of Villa Guardia has ca. 8.000 residents and 26% of the population is over sixty years old. In order to acquire all the digital competences necessary for a full citizenship the elders can attend the Grandparents on the Internet courses held at the Sant’Elia first-degree secondary school.
