Yesterday’s seminar on Scientific Communication for Projects was the last meeting for 2008. The seminar featured the participation of many different schools representing the entire region from the Istituto comprensivo Milanes and the Istituto Gonfalonieri in Rome to the Itis Trafelli in Nettuno (Province of Rome) and the Istituto Don Morosini in Ferentino (Frosinone).
The students’ task is to expand the idea of a “networked press desk” throughout the region. The “networked press desk” concept was designed by the “100 classi - Lazio Inter-Scholastic Network” to allow students to experiment new ways to divulge scientific and technological culture.
During the seminar, students worked on the web press desk, the content management system and published news on-line. Teachers have begun designing the multimedia project that will be presented in May 2009 at the conclusion of the “Studying is Sustainable” Project, which will also be entered in the Global Junior Challenge Competition.
The Final Event and Awards Ceremony of the Global Junior Challenge will be held in October 2009.
