The young men and women who will be with us this week for the Call4Youth have selected the One4One track at the Officina – New Jobs Workshop that allows them to intensively explore four labs - Fab Lab, Game Lab, Immersive Lab and Video Lab – for a total of 22 hours (4 hours motivational course, 4 hours in each lab and 2 final re-evaluation hours).
The young participants, aged 16-30, come from all over Italy and only 30% has a university degree.
This week, activities at the Officina will be managed by Domenico Zungri (Immersive Lab), professionals from Animatika (Video Lab), Mauro Del Santo (Fab Lab), and AIV Coaches (Game Lab). [Also see: L'Officina dei nuovi lavori: chi sono i coach (in Italian)].
The Officina – New Jobs Workshop is a project conceived by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Google to promote digital skills and implement professional training and orientation activities for 10,000 young men and women currently looking for a job. The initiative has been organised with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Regione Lazio and Roma Capitale.
