Thanks to their collaboration with the Elettra Robotics Lab in Domodossola, the students from IIS Cobianchi in Verbania won RomeCup 2017 and qualified for the World Robotics Championships in Japan, an extraordinary results obtained thanks to the support of Professor Raimondo Sgrò and Coaches Alberto Mazzaccaro (ERL) and Filippo Marcodini (ERL).

 

"We are working full-time with the Mega Hertz and Human Droid Teams. The robots are continuously being tweaked. We hope to finish everything in time for the championship,” writes Raimondo Sgrò to Francesca Del Duca.

"The year-three students, who participated in the Junior Open Tournament in Pescara, are also helping out, but will not be able to attend the championships. Especially, Failla Mattia and Noah Pescatore," adds the professor.
