Registration is open for the fifth edition of Fabricademy, a transdisciplinary journey through textiles, digital manufacturing and biology, with a focus on the development and application of new technology to the textile sector, from the fashion industry to the emerging wearables market.
The six-month course will be held in labs around the world, uniting practical activities with on-line lessons and tutorials with experts.
For the past three years, one of the main educational nodes has been the digital manufacturing lab at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, coordinated by designer and maker Matteo Viscogliosi.
The cost of the programme varies, based on the location, but participants can also attend the course on-line. Places are limited. Register today to reserve a place by completing this online form. The course begins on September 21.
