“We are currently all exposed to threats to our privacy and security, simply because we use digital devices, browsers, applications, etc. For example, when we download an app, even from an official store, we often agree to the privacy policy without paying any attention to the many clauses. We should be more aware or how our personal data is used, so it would be better to highlight some sections and focus on them. Moreover, TRUST aWARE tools help users to identify data breaches and understand the basic mechanisms behind the ads we see on social media.”
The first issue of the newsletter from European Project TRUST aWARE - Enhancing Digital Security, Privacy and TRUST in softWARE features an interview with the Project Coordinator Javier Guttiérez Meana, Manager of the Spanish lead partner, Tree Technology Sa.
TRUST aWARE partnership actions aim to reduce to a minimum the impact of IT threats, by making users more responsible, promoting a greater collective awareness, and encouraging the use of reliable digital products that preserve S&P in conformity with regulations.
