Pink Cloud, an initiative organized by Microsoft, Asus, Aviva and Accenture in collaboration with various partners including the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, allows Italian and foreign female students to attend free technical-scientific training courses that aim to bridge the gender gap that exists in science, technology and research.

Pink Cloud, which is also promoted by international organisations, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations Regional Information Centre and UN Women, will be held in Milan from May 19 to 21, 2015.

In the video Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, explains why introducing women to scientific subjects is a priority.
