One of the categories in the Global Junior Challenge is dedicated to "Projects Using ICT to Place Youth on the Labour Market.”
The 7th edition of the Challenge includes 24 projects in this category: 13 from Italy, 3 from other European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Poland), 4 from 3 developing countries (Cameroon, Pakistan and Senegal). The four remaining projects are from Argentina, Colombia, Malaysia and Taiwan.
The record number of proposals is held by a school in Rome, the Istituto tecnico industriale Heinrich Hertz, which has registered six projects:
