World Café

As part of the activities implemented for the National Digital School Programme (Actions 4, 15, 23, 25) and the National School Programme 2014-20, the digital coach at the Provincial Adult Education Centre 2 in Rome has organised an afternoon of peer training.

Starting with the experiences of didactic innovation through digital technology conducted at CPIA2 thanks to the participation of two professors in Erasmus+ Projects (Ideal with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Breaking Barriers with AIM - Agenzia intercultura e mobilità), Today, at 1:30 pm, the organization will host a course based on the World Café Methodology.

Six professors will have their own tables to illustrate their expeirences in adult education with digital technology to other professors.

The session will feature an introduction to the use of technology in adult education with practical labs on specific tools and methodologies. Moreover, besides sharing and divulging results on the educational activities implemented by the two projects, the session will provide an opportunity for bottom-up learning to raise awareness and interest in aspects that can improve didactics even amongst those professors less used to employing digital tools. The session will be based on issues concerning the presented apps and tools, including:

  • Improving learning results
  • Self-learning
  • Connecting and Organising
  • Involving, Challenging, Exciting
  • Creating a Library of Didactic Resources
  • Innovating Spaces
