Twelve hours, no more, to learn to use basic software programmes and navigate on the web.

From word processing to navigation on Internet in twelve hours. Fifteen guests from the Centro Enea were attracted by the challenge launched by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The last meeting of the short training course was held on October 5th with the presentation of the course certificates.

This “sprint” course provided young people at the Poly-functional Centre for the integration of refugees, political asylum seekers and beneficiaries of various forms of assistance with the opportunity to learn how to use the most common pc applications such as word processing and spreadsheet programmes.

Practical exercises – from how to write a curriculum vitae to how to send an e-mail – also included a “hardware” laboratory on how to dismount and re-assemble the various components of a PC in less than an hour.
