Experience AI

Experience AI

Experience AI is a free training programme for teachers at all levels, organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, with the support of Google.org in Italy.

The programme helps teachers to understand and use artificial intelligence (AI) in an informed, ethical and creative way, to harness its educational potential and guide students towards the responsible use of emerging technologies.

The webinars alternate between theoretical sessions, guided reflections and practical activities to:

  • understand the principles and languages of artificial intelligence;
  • explore the educational opportunities and ethical risks associated with the use of AI;
  • experiment with free educational resources available on the Experience AI platform.

At the end of each module, teachers receive practical materials and lesson plans to facilitate in-depth classroom activities and interdisciplinary projects on AI.

programme

The course consists of two live webinars and a section of on-demand materials, available on the FMD Academy platform.

The aim is to build a basic understanding of AI and its educational, social and cultural implications, offering tools that can be immediately applied in teaching practice.

The webinars alternate between theoretical sessions, guided reflections and simple practical activities.

The on-demand materials include teaching sheets, educational resources and workshop activities to explore the content independently, including with the class.

It is also possible to request 3 hours of in-person training at your own school.
